Earlier this week, a motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Miramar. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Tuesday afternoon on Padgett Street. Initial reports indicate that a 71-year-old woman was driving a Chevy Bolt southbound, when she pulled into the path of a motorcycle. The motorcycle hit the Bolt’s front left quarter panel. 

The Motorcycle rider was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of a traumatic brain injury, fractured rib, liver laceration and broken right elbow. At the time of the news report, there was no word on whether or not the driver was facing any citations or charges, and this crash may still be under investigation with local authorities.
