Earlier this week, a motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Spring Valley. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened early Monday morning near the Sweetwater Reservoir. For currently unknown reasons, the 60-year-old motorcycle rider lost control of his 2009 Harley-Davidson Street Glide. He was westbound on a curving stretch of Jamacha Boulevard at the time of the crash.  

The motorcycle ended up hitting a concrete median near Gillespie Drive and ejected the rider. First responders rushed to the scene, and the injured rider was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of severe injuries. There has been no word on his current condition, and this motorcycle wreck is likely still under investigation with local authorities.
