Motorcyclist Killed After Crashing into Truck at High Rate of Speed
On Tuesday night, a motorcyclist was killed after crashing into a pickup truck in Lakeside. According to the Times of San Diego, the incident happened north of Lemon Crest Drive on Winter Gardens Boulevard at around 8:05 pm. The man was riding a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R southbound when the driver of a 2013 Ford F-150 entered the motorcyclist’s lane. Due to the high-speed rate of the motorcycle, the man ended up driving directly into the Ford’s rear. Both vehicles were engulfed in flames as a result of the crash.
The motorcyclist died from his injuries after he was taken to UCSD Medical Center. The Ford’s driver and passenger were uninjured.
