Earlier this week, a motorcyclist was struck and injured by a suspected drunk driver in the Barrio Logan area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on the 2400 block of Harbor Drive. Initial reports indicate that a Nissan Versa was making a left turn from the curb when the collision happened. Apparently, the Versa was parked along the curb just before the incident.

The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man, was ejected from the 2014 Aprila RSV4 motorcycle during the collision. First responders rushed that person to the hospital for treatment of injuries including a broken leg. At this time, there has been no information on that person’s current condition. The Versa driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
