Over the weekend, there was a fatal multi-vehicle crash on the 405 Freeway in Seal Beach. According to KTLA News Channel Five, two people were killed in the six-vehicle crash. The crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. First responders rushed to the scene, where two people were pronounced dead. Additionally, firefighters had to use equipment to free somebody who was trapped in a vehicle.   

That person reportedly sustained critical injuries and had to be rushed to a local hospital for treatment. A few other people were treated on the scene. At this time, there has been no word on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials, but they are looking into whether or not one of the drivers may have been going the wrong way.
