Earlier this week, five people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Mid-Wilshire. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened on the 4500 block of Wilshire Boulevard and Muirfield Road at about 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. Initial reports indicate that three vehicles were involved in the crash. At least one car overturned during the collision, and there was debris surrounding the area.  

When first responders arrived on the scene, they transported at least one person to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. A portion of Muirfield Road had to be closed down, and several lanes of Wilshire Boulevard also had to be closed. No information has been released on the cause of this crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
