Earlier this week, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a train at the Old Town Transit Center in San Diego. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Tuesday afternoon on the 4000 block of Taylor Street. At this time, very few details have been released about the deadly train collision, but we do know that multiple law enforcement agencies were called to the scene.  

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, and a portion of Taylor Street was closed for about an hour as crews and first responders worked. Railroad enforcement units were also called to the scene. No information has been released on the cause of this fatal train incident, which is likely still under investigation with law enforcement officials.
