Last weekend, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Chula Vista. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened sometime before 11:22 p.m. on Saturday evening. Initial reports indicate that the collision happened on the 500 block of Naples Street. Although very few details about this fatal hit-and-run crash have been released, we do know that several people called 911 about the injured pedestrian.  

First responders rushed to the scene. In spite of paramedics rendering first aid, the female pedestrian did not survive her injuries. The vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene before the authorities arrived. At this time, anybody with information about the driver or vehicle is being asked to contact the Chula Vista Police Department.
