Earlier this week, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in the Upland area. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the collision happened on Monday night at about 9:54 p.m. Initial reports indicate that a man was struck near Foothill Boulevard and Hospital Parkway. At the time of the news report, there were very few details, but we do know that the driver involved did remain on the scene to cooperate with authorities.  

When first responders arrived, the injured pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene. A portion of Foothill Boulevard was closed in both directions near Hospital Parkway as crews worked. There has been no word on the cause of this fatal pedestrian crash, and the incident could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
