Earlier this week, a pedestrian was struck and killed in the Logan Heights area. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened early Monday morning. Although very few details about this fatal pedestrian crash have been released, initial reports indicate that a driver on the scene called law enforcement officers to report that they saw what looked like a person’s body in the road.

First responders rushed to the scene, where they found the injured pedestrian. That person suffered from head trauma, and in spite of CPR performed on the scene and being transported to a local hospital, he did not survive his injuries. At this time, there has been no word on whether or not they have located the hit-and-run driver.
