Pedestrian Injured by Motorcycle in Pacific Beach
Over the weekend, a 25-year-old pedestrian was injured by a motorcycle in Pacific Beach. According to ABC San Diego News Channel Five, the incident happened on the 4300 block of Mission Boulevard at about 1:55 a.m. on Sunday morning. Initial reports indicate that the pedestrian was crossing a street when he was hit by a motorcycle.
Apparently, the motorcycle was headed southbound on Mission Boulevard from Grand Avenue when it struck the pedestrian. First responders rushed to the scene. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. There has been no word on whether or not the motorcycle rider was also injured in the crash. This wreck may still be under investigation with local authorities.
