Earlier this week, a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a suspected drunk driver in Chinatown. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. A pedestrian was reportedly walking near the intersection of North Broadway and Ord Street, when the pedestrian, described as a man between 50 and 60 years old, was struck by two vehicles. The first vehicle circled the block and returned to the scene.

The second driver fled the area. The driver that returned to the scene was arrested on suspicion of DUI. At the time of the news report, there was no information on whether or not law enforcement officers had a lead on the second vehicle. This fatal pedestrian crash is likely still under investigation.
