On Sunday night, a pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car in San Luis Obispo. According to The San Luis Obispo Tribune, the incident occurred around 10:20 pm near the corner of Broad Street and Orcutt Road. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.  

The Severe Collision Investigation Detail (SCID) Team was on scene to determine the cause of the incident. At the time of the report, it was believed that neither drugs nor alcohol played a role in the collision. The pedestrian was stated to be in stable condition.
