Earlier this week, a pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle in the Midway District. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Wednesday evening on Rosecrans Street. Initial reports indicate that a 62-year-old man was trying to cross the street when a 2016 Volkswagen sedan hit him.

Apparently, the northbound sedan was being driven by a 46-year-old man at the time of the crash. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found the injured pedestrian lying in the street. That person was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of injuries, including multiple fractures. Thankfully, those injuries were not described as life threatening on the scene. This pedestrian collision is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
