On Tuesday morning, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Baldwin Hills. According to FOX LA, the crash took place around 2:00 am near 5798 W. Obama Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard. A woman and her boyfriend were walking in a crosswalk on a green crossing light when a dark-colored sedan came towards them at around 60-70 mph. The man was able to step out of the way, but the woman was in the middle of running when she was hit. The driver did not stop to help them.  

A piece of the car was left at the scene, believed to belong to a dark-colored Toyota Camry. At the time of the report, there was a standing reward in the city of Los Angeles for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver.
