Earlier this week, two pedestrians were struck and killed by a vehicle in Point Loma. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Wednesday evening in the 5000 block of North Harbor Drive. Initial reports indicate that a vehicle hit two people, who were reportedly in their 50s or 60s, as they were crossing the street.  

First responders rushed to the scene, where the two people were unresponsive. They did not survive their injuries and were pronounced dead on the scene. The driver involved in the collision did remain on the scene to cooperate with authorities. Very few details have been released about how this fatal pedestrian crash happened, and the incident may still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
