Earlier this week, there was a rollover injury crash in Carmel Valley. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on State Route 56. Initial reports indicate that deputies with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office tried to pull over a suspicious vehicle in the San Marcos area when it took them on a high-speed chase.

The vehicle reached speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour at certain times. The driver lost control of the vehicle near Carmel Valley Road. The car overturned, and one person was ejected and trapped beneath it. First responders rescued that person, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. There were two other people in the vehicle, and they were also injured. This incident is likely still under investigation with law enforcement officials.
