Earlier this week, there was a semi truck crash in the Wilmington area. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened on an on-ramp to the northbound 110 Freeway. For currently unknown reasons, a tractor-trailer overturned in the roadway. The crash happened in the evening, sometime before 9:00 p.m., on the Harry Bridge on-ramp to the 110.

A SigAlert was issued for the area, and first responders rushed to the scene. A portion of the on-ramp was blocked as crews worked the scene. The driver was injured, but there has been no word on that person’s current condition. Additionally, no information has been released on why or how the big rig overturned, and this truck crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
