Earlier this week, there was a crash involving two semi trucks on the 5 Freeway near Grapevine. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened near Smokey Bear Road, just before 7:00 a.m. For currently unknown reasons, two semi trucks were involved in a crash. Although very few details about the truck crash were released, we do know that there was a spill of some sort on the 5 Freeway, and also one of the trucks lost its cargo beside the road, over the guardrail. 

Apparently, the number 2, 3 and 4 lanes of the Freeway had to be closed for a period of time. Southbound traffic was backed up for miles as crews and first responders worked the scene. At the time of the report, there was no word on whether or not anybody was injured.
