Earlier this week, there was a serious multi-vehicle crash in Long Beach. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened sometime before 5:00 a.m. on Monday morning on the northbound side of the 405 Freeway, at the transition with the 710 Freeway. For currently unknown reasons, an SUV smashed into the right embankment towards the end of the 710 on-ramp. At the time of the report, there was no information on whether or not anybody was injured in the crash.

Additionally, there was reportedly a second crash on the northbound side of the 405 Freeway, near the scene of the first crash. Very few details about the second crash have been released, or if it was related to the first wreck. These collisions are likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
