Earlier this week, an 18-year-old man was killed in a crash in Escondido. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on North Center City Parkway, just south of North Nutmeg Street, at about 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Initial reports indicate that this was a single-vehicle rollover crash. For currently unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway near the off-ramp and went up an embankment before overturning and rolling over several times. The driver was ejected during the crash.  

That person was rushed to Palomar Medical Center for treatment, but he did not survive his injuries. At this time, there has been no word on the official cause of the crash, and the incident is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
