Teenager on Minibike Struck, Killed by Car in Koreatown
On Monday morning, a teenage boy was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Los Angeles’ Koreatown. The crash occurred around 1:43 am at the Arapahoe Street and Olympic Boulevard intersection, according to ABC 7. The teenager was riding a mini motorbike northbound on Arapahoe when he lost control and slid into the intersection. He was then hit by a car traveling eastbound on Olympic. The driver did not stop.
The teenage victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Family members reported that they read about a minibike crash on the Citizen app and went to the scene, where they recognized the victim’s belongings. At the time of the report, no description of the suspect or vehicle was available.
