Last week, two teens were injured in a rollover crash in Imperial Beach. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the wreck happened sometime around 12:30 a.m. on Monday morning on the 700 block of Palm Avenue. This was apparently a one-vehicle crash. Initial reports indicate that a Toyota RAV-4 was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed, when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The Toyota hit a curb and overturned. It hit several light posts before it came to a stop. A bystander helped one of the occupants out of the vehicle, but first responders had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate the other one. Both of those teens were rushed to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. This crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
