Earlier this week, three Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers were injured in a crash on the 110 Freeway. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the wreck happened at about 2:12 a.m. on Monday morning, near Olympic Boulevard, in the Pico Union area. Initial reports indicate that a marked LAPD vehicle and an SUV were involved in the crash.

First responders rushed to the scene, where they found at least three people who were injured. Two of them were reportedly in critical condition, and one person was trapped inside of one of the vehicles. As of 6:00 a.m., all three people were in stable condition. At this time, there has been no word on the cause of the crash or if any citations or charges have been made. This injury crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
