Over the weekend, three people were killed in a crash involving a suspected drunk driver. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened on Saturday night on the 118 Freeway, at the 405 interchange transition road, in Granada Hills. Apparently, a Mercedes coupe veered into a Mercedes sedan that was stopped in the far right lane of the southbound 405 transition road.  

The sedan hit a wall and burst into flames. There were three occupants in the sedan at the time of the crash, and they were all pronounced dead at the scene. The driver in the coupe was transported to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries. Law enforcement officers were reportedly looking into whether or not that person could have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
