On Thursday morning, multiple vehicles were involved in a traffic collision in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 at Olive Mill in Montecito. According to KSBY, the incident took place around 5:30 am north of Evans Avenue and involved a blue Toyota Camry and a white Toyota Camry. Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage and had to be towed away. The crash also destroyed a barrier and caused it to be pushed into traffic lanes, causing a lane blockage. No injuries were reported.  

The Montecito Fire Department, Santa Barbara City fire, and the CHP (among others) were dispatched to the scene to assist with reopening the highway for peak morning rush, stated Edhat.com. At the time of the report, the cause of the collision was still under investigation.
