Earlier this week, two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle at the Los Angeles International Airport. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened on Wednesday morning at about 9:53 a.m., near Terminal 1. For currently unknown reasons, a passenger van struck two pedestrians and a nearby structure. 

First responders rushed to the scene, where one of the pedestrians had to be transported to a local hospital. The other pedestrian declined treatment at the scene. The driver of the van was also taken to a local hospital. At this time, there has been no word on the cause of this crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
