Earlier this week, there was a two vehicle injury crash near Liberty Station. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Tuesday night, sometime before 11:30 p.m. Initial reports indicate that the wreck occurred at the intersection of Harbor Drive and Nimitz Boulevard around the Roseville/Fleetridge neighborhood. For currently unknown reasons, a vehicle failed to stop at a red light, and a westbound car from Harbor Drive collided with a southbound SUV coming from Nimitz Boulevard.

A female driver was not buckled up at the time of the crash, and she suffered from head injuries and a fracture to her ankle. The other driver was not transported from the scene to the hospital. Speed is thought to be a factor in this crash, and the incident is likely still under investigation with authorities.
