U Drive U Text U Pay 2023
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is currently publicizing their U Drive. U Text. U Pay. anti-distracted driving campaign. Since April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month, officials with the NHTSA are hoping that the U Drive. U Text. U Pay. campaign will help to raise awareness about the dangers and consequences of texting while driving.
Although there can be many types of distractions behind the wheel, texting still seems to be one of the most pervasive and dangerous forms of distracted driving. In response to this ongoing problem, the NHTSA will be conducting the High Visibility Enforcement (HVE) media campaign during the first week of April (April 3-10, 2023). During this time, campaign materials will be broadcast on a variety of different media outlets. Officials with the NHTSA are also hoping this campaign will help to aid law enforcement efforts during National Distracted Driving Month.
