Earlier this week, a vehicle hit a bunch of parked cars at a car dealership in Lakeside. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened on Wednesday morning near the intersection of Woodside and Winter Gardens. Initial reports indicate that about a half dozen cars were damaged during the crash. Apparently, a 20-year-old driver lost control of their vehicle.

The driver may have had some kind of medical situation and hit the accelerator. The vehicle hit a curb and launched into the air. It hit several cars, including two Corvettes. The driver was rushed to a local hospital and is expected to survive, but there has been no additional information about the type of injuries that person is facing. The owner of the car lot was devastated by having so many cars destroyed amidst an already tough used-car shortage.
