On Tuesday night, a two-vehicle crash trapped a driver inside his car on Friars Road in Mission Valley. The incident occurred around 11:00 pm on westbound Friars Road near Mission Center Road, according to ABC 10 News. A pickup truck and a white sedan collided, with the impact causing the white car to slam into a light and trap the driver inside. The driver was eventually pulled from the wreck by first responders and taken to the hospital with neck pain.  

Footage from the scene showed heavy damage to both vehicles. The truck driver was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. At the time of the report, the incident was still under investigation.
