Violent Solo Vehicle Crash Kills 1 in Riverside
On Tuesday evening, one person was killed and another injured following a high-speed crash in Riverside. The crash took place around 6:15 pm at the corner of Sycamore Canyon Boulevard and Cottonwood Avenue, stated KTLA. A 2017 Nissan 370Z had been traveling southbound at a high rate of speed on Sycamore Canyon Boulevard when it lost control and collided with a tree.
The Nissan’s two occupants were trapped inside the vehicle. They were both taken to a hospital after being extricated from the wreckage, where the passenger died from their injuries. The Nissan driver was reported to be in stable condition. At the time of the report, it was unknown if DUI contributed to the crash.
