On Wednesday afternoon in Gardena, a woman traveling at high speed crashed her vehicle into two vehicles during a brief pursuit. The incident took place around 1:00 pm in the 2600 block of Manhattan Beach Boulevard, between Van Ness Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard, according to NBC Los Angeles. Los Angeles County fire personnel saw the woman in an altercation with an unknown man. After stopping to assist her, the woman began physically hitting one of the firefighters before fleeing the scene in a white Audi sedan. 

The woman then came back, prompting officers to speak with her, but ultimately fled again, causing a vehicle pursuit. While heading westbound on Manhattan Beach Boulevard, the woman collided with an undercover police vehicle and a Los Angeles County fire SUV. The woman was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
