Earlier this week, a woman was injured after her car was hit by a train in Pasadena. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the collision happened at about 9:20 a.m. on Thursday morning. Initial reports indicate that the incident happened at the intersection of Raymond Avenue and California Boulevard. For currently unknown reasons, the train struck the dark-colored sedan.  

The woman inside of the car had to be extricated from the wreckage. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. At the scene, her injuries were described as moderate, but there has been no update on her current condition. No other injuries were reported, and train passengers were taken by bus to the next stop. This train crash is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
