Woman Killed After Crashing Car, Landing on Preschool Fence
On Tuesday evening in Ramona, a woman was killed after her vehicle flipped and crashed into a preschool playground. The woman was driving eastbound on State Route-78 when the car left the roadway near Earlham Street at around 6:51 pm, according to NBC 7 San Diego. The driver lost control of the car, which hit a tree and rolled down an embankment before flipping, landing on the fence of the Thomsen Learning Center preschool. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The director of the preschool, Nicolle Daniels, confirmed that no employees or kids were injured or on site. At the time of the report, the cause of the crash was unknown.
