On Saturday morning, a woman was killed following a two-car collision in Fresno County. The crash took place around 12:25 am on Highway 269 in the Coalinga area, just north of Ford Avenue, according to Your Central Valley. A 2020 Tesla was traveling southbound on Highway 269 while a 2019 GMC traveled in the opposite direction on the highway. For reasons unknown, the Tesla veered into the southbound lane and into the path of the GMC, causing the GMC to collide with the Tesla’s passenger side.   

The passenger in the Tesla sustained fatal injuries while the driver suffered cuts and lacerations. The GMC driver experienced a possible broken leg. At the time of the report, authorities did not believe that drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision.
