Over the weekend, a woman riding a pocket bike was injured by a hit-and-run driver in Los Angeles. According to KTLA News Channel Five, the incident happened at about 3:45 a.m. on Sunday morning near 27th Street and Griffith Avenue. The woman was on a mini motorized “pocket bike” when she was hit by a box-style vehicle. 

She was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and authorities are looking for a Kia Soul, Honda Element or similar body style vehicle. Anybody with information about the driver or hit-and-run vehicle is being asked to come forward. No information has been released about the full extent of injuries the woman is facing or her current condition. On the scene, her injuries were described as severe, but not-life threatening.
