Wrong-Way Crash Kills 1 in Rancho Cucamonga
On Wednesday morning, a person was killed in a wrong-way crash in Rancho Cucamonga. The collision happened around 1:00 am at the Foothill Boulevard and Haven Avenue intersection, according to FOX 11 LA. A man driving a Toyota Avalon sedan was headed west in the eastbound lanes of Foothill Boulevard as a Tesla sedan headed east. As the Tesla approached the Haven Avenue intersection, his vehicle crashed head-on into the Toyota.
The Toyota driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Tesla driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, stated CBS News. The eastbound lanes of Foothill Boulevard were closed for seven hours during the investigation. At the time of the report, the cause of the crash was unknown.
