On Tuesday afternoon, a driver in a white pickup truck reportedly collided with more than a dozen cars on the 101 Freeway in Hollywood. According to KTLA, a witness stated that the suspect had been involved in an accident near Universal Studios and began driving the opposite way of traffic to escape the situation. The same witness, whose car was one of those hit on the freeway, reported that the suspect slammed into at least 20 cars while traveling northbound in the freeway’s southbound lanes, causing a giant pile-up. 

The suspect eventually exited the freeway to surface streets, where he ran a red light on Hollywood Boulevard at Bronson and collided with yet another motorist as police chased him. The suspect sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. At the time of the report, it was unclear how many charges the man would face.
