On Tuesday evening, a crash sent two cars down a ravine beside State Route 94. According to ABC San Diego News Channel 10, the incident happened just before 5:00 p.m. near Federal Boulevard. Very little information has been released about this crash, but initial reports indicate that a BMW may have been speeding when it collided with a GMC van. Both vehicles left the roadway and slid down the hill.

The van came to rest on its side, and bystanders close by helped three people out of the wreckage. At least two of the van’s occupants were injured. Additionally, the driver of the BMW had to be transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
