A young girl died, and another was injured in a terrible freak accident involving a horse. On Thursday, a twelve-year-old girl was riding a horse along with another four-year-old girl around 8:00 p.m. at the Lake View Terrace Recreation Center.  Allegedly, the girls fell off the horse and the horse trampled on top of them. When the girls were found, the twelve-year-old was not breathing, and the four-year-old suffered major injuries. Later determined she has a collapsed lung. They both were immediately taken to the Northridge Hospital Medical Center where twelve-year-old succumbed to her injuries, ABC Seven News. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers send our deepest condolences to the friends and family of the young girls. We have the four-year-old in our prayers in hopes she survives this terrible tragedy.

This accident brings to question, was the Lake View Terrace Recreation Center responsible for this accident? Were the two girls supposed to be riding together, or alone, or without supervision? Was the recreation center staff negligent in supervising the children?
