A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle in Long Beach on Wednesday afternoon. The accident occurred at the Sunrise Highway and North Long Beach Road intersection. According to reports made by Patch, A 32-year-old man was driving a 2003 Ford east on Sunrise Highway when police say he struck a 37-year-old man riding a bicycle that was crossing south on Long Beach Road.

The Rockville Centre Police department was called to the accident scene and found the cyclist with head and body trauma.
