This month, we’ve decided to spotlight our very own attorney Josh Poulsen. Josh Poulsen started working for Harris Personal Injury Lawyers with a goal to find new and innovative ways to resolve his clients’ cases without the long drawn out litigation process. His caring and compassionate personality allowed him to help hundreds of clients recover over $1.5 million from insurance companies, corporations and public entities. Josh is a problem solver, and we are glad to have him on our team.
Q: What is your favorite song? “Standing Outside the Fire by Garth Brooks”
Q: What is the best part about being an attorney? “The best part about being an attorney is helping individuals obtain a fair and just recovery after a traumatic injury. I know that sounds clique, but it is true. There are few things better than getting a heartfelt thank you from a satisfied client after a tough case.”
Q: What motivates you the most? “My main motivation is providing a quality life for my wife and girls.”
Q: What do you like to do outside the office? “I like to travel, play basketball, volleyball, and softball, spend time with my family and friends, and taking my girls to amusement parks.”
Q: What is your philosophy when representing a case? “I begin with the end in mind. I try and prepare my cases for mediation, arbitration, and/or trial from the moment the case comes across my desk. I have found that if I prepare every case like it is going to go to trial, it puts me in the best position to try and settle the case if and when the opportunity presents itself.”
