Bay Terraces Fatal Hit-and-Run

On Tuesday night, a male pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Bay Terraces area. According to ABC Channel 10 News, the incident happened some time before 10:00 p.m. The victim’s body was found near the intersection of Appian Drive and South Woodman Street.

The male victim, who has only been described as either Asian or Hispanic, was apparently dragged for about 100 yards by the hit and run driver. Officials also have reason to believe a large vehicle hit him. A nearby resident did mention hearing what could have been an airbrake on a semi truck. Authorities don’t have any witnesses or suspect vehicle descriptions, and the victim has not yet been identified. Anybody with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
