Berkeley is known for the copious amounts of pedestrians and bicyclists. Unfortunately, on Tuesday afternoon a bicyclist crashed into the side of a car. The collision happened near Sacramento Street and Alston Way. The East Bay Times stated that, “The collision caused the bicyclist to be thrown to the pavement. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital where his condition was not immediately available.” The cyclist was riding on Alston Way and the vehicle was going perpendicular to the bicyclist when they collided. The condition of the cyclist has not been released. The cyclist was rushed to the hospital shortly after the crash.
