Bicyclist Injured in San Luis Obispo

On Wednesday morning, a hit-and-run driver struck a 68-year-old cyclist. The collision occurred at around 11:15am on Tank Farm Road, next the Marigold Shopping Center. The San Luis Obispo Tribune reports that the cyclist, Ernie Brink sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Sierra Vista Medical Center. There is no word on his current condition.

The San Luis Obispo Police Department eventually recuperated and impounded a vehicle to examine it for evidence; however, the department has made no additional comments. Jessica Jantos, a nurse pulled her car to a nearby parking lot and hurried to help Ernie, she told the press, “I think his helmet saved his life.” Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, Inc. wishes a speedy recovery for the cyclist.
