A Santa Monica Bird rider was struck by a vehicle in Santa Monica. The Bird rider was struck on Washington Avenue on Monday evening. The Santa Monica Daily Press stated, the Bird rider was heading north and did not come to a stop at the posted sign when he was struck. Unfortunately, this in not the first electric scooter accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. While the Bird Company has given out over 22,000 helmets to riders, the scooter riders must share the roads with cars. In this particular accident, the scooter rider was at fault for not stopping at a stop sign. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers have the man in our prayers in hopes of a full recovery.
