Over the weekend, a boat capsized in San Francisco bay, with over 30 passengers on board. The reason for the capsize was due to the overload of people on the boat. There were 27 adults, 2 children and a five-year-old who was found unconscious in the water. NBC News claimed, “The Khalessi, a 34-foot Silverton cabin cruiser, sleeps six people and can carry up to 15 passengers safely.” Thankfully, every passenger is okay today and recovered from the incident. NBC News stated, “Within the next 24 hours, a salvage company is expected to assess the boat and develop a plan to raise her. Once raised, the boat will be taken to an area where it can be inspected.” In the case of a boat accident, it is important to have an experienced attorney on your side to advocate for your rights.
