A bus carrying the San Diego Christian College men’s basketball team was involved in a fiery accident on Sunday. The team was heading back to San Diego after playing a game against Cal State University Bakersfield. On Route 71 near Chino Hills, a Jetta slammed into the back of the bus and quickly the vehicle caught on fire. Seconds later, the bus caught fire as well. “The bus’ passengers, 19 members of the men’s basketball team at San Diego Christian College and the driver, could evacuate and escape safely, Stewart said. No students were reportedly injured” per NBC San Diego.  The driver of the Jetta died on impact. The team at Harris Personal Injury Lawyers, Inc. send our deepest condolences to the family of the driver of the Jetta.
