Two professors were struck by a vehicle in Atascadero on August 18 leaving them seriously injured. The professors, The Glicks, were walking across the Highway 41 cross walk at Santa Ysabel Avenue, when they were struck by a car. The Glicks suffered broken legs, brain bleeding, deep cuts and bruising. According to The Tribune, Mary Glick said she and her husband are both wearing immobilizers and receiving daily occupational, speech and physical therapy.
